As many of may know, on Monday we announced that Mark McLaughlin would be joining Palo Alto Networks as our president, CEO, and a member of our Board of Directors.

We're very excited to have Mark on board. His strengths as a leader align perfectly with the next phase of our growth. During the last two years he has spent as VeriSign's CEO and President, the publicly-traded company returned record profits to its shareholders, successfully managed a major corporate restructuring, all the while maintaining an exceptional reputation among its customers, analysts, and the media.

We're also excited at the reaction to our news and what lies ahead. As the Wall Street Journal [pointed out on Monday](http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424053111904292504576480103413178320.html), we have generated positive cash flow for five straight quarters in a multibillion-dollar industry and have achieved over US$200M in bookings run rate. And just this morning, CRN [called us](http://www.crn.com/news/networking/231300300/palo-alto-networks-new-ceo-gets-the-channel.htm) "one of the most buzzed-about companies in Silicon Valley."
