Supplemental Privacy Notice for California Consumers

Our Privacy Statement (“Privacy Statement”) provides you with our data collection, use, and sharing practices. This Supplemental California Privacy Statement (“California Statement”) supplements our Privacy Statement only for consumers of California (“you” or “your”) and summarizes our practices to align with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”). In the event of a conflict between this California Statement and our Privacy Statement, this California Statement will prevail only to the extent of resolving such conflict. If you are not a California consumer, this California Statement does not apply to you. Terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the CCPA.

We collect personal identifiers such as name, telephone number, business address, business email address, user ID and password, IP address, etc.

We collect this category of personal information from: you, directly (including online and offline); your use of our services, interactions with our Site, emails, or internet advertisements and/or marketing or advertising campaigns; your organization’s use of our services; entities processing data on our behalf; our business partners; our affiliates; publicly accessible sources; social media providers; and data enrichment partners.

Your rights

You have a right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use and disclose. You have the right to request the specific pieces of personal information that we have about you; categories of personal information we have collected about you; categories of sources from which your personal information is collected; categories of personal information that we have disclosed for a business purpose about you; categories of third parties to whom your personal information was disclosed for a business purpose; and/or the business or commercial purpose for collecting information.

You also have the right to request that we delete your personal information collected or maintained by us, as provided by California Civil Code Section 1798.105 and subject to certain exceptions.

You may exercise any of your rights in this section without discrimination by us. We will not deny you goods or services, charge different prices or rates, or provide a different level or quality of goods or services based on your exercise of any rights in this section, unless the difference is reasonably related to the value provided by your data.

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request to know or delete on your behalf. Your authorized agent can make such a request by emailing individualrights@paloaltonetworks.com. In such case, we may require that the authorized agent provide us with your written permission to act on your behalf, that you verify your identity directly with us, and that your authorized agent verify their identity directly with us.
