with Palo Alto Networks ## SUMMARY Sherry FitzGerald is Ireland's largest property and financial services advisory group with more than 100 offices nationwide. An existing multiprotocol label switching-based (MPLS) connectivity solution struggled to keep pace with the speed and scale of business growth. Complex and expensive to manage, it masked security issues -- threatening ongoing property sales negotiations and transactions. By deploying a Palo Alto Networks AI-powered secure access service edge (SASE) platform, Sherry FitzGerald has eliminated these concerns, empowering 450 estate agents across Ireland to transact with confidence. This consolidated approach, powered by Precision AI^®^, protects against modern threats, streamlines operations, and delivers a seamless, agile user experience. ## RESULTS ### 80% reduction in MTTD and MTTR ### 3 FTEs' worth of time gained by consolidating security ### 40% reduction in security costs ### 70% reduction in helpdesk calls CHALLENGE ## Complex, siloed security hampers real estate business growth Sherry FitzGerald's estate agents are continuously on call: valuing residential and commercial properties, negotiating sales between buyers and sellers, and advising people on mortgages. The work is hectic and fast-paced, and it relies on secure connectivity across the 100-strong Irish and Northern Irish branch network. Any data outage could jeopardise a sale agreement, damage the organisation's reputation, or curb growth. Sherry FitzGerald's commitment to platformization began with the successful deployment of Cortex XDR to shield endpoints from threats. AI-powered defence, complete security visibility, and automation have all helped to reduce mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to respond (MTTR) by 80%. The platform is quick and easy to manage, and has increased productivity by up to 40%. Chris estimates that, without Cortex XDR, three full-time equivalent (FTE) people would be needed to manage security. The organisation is using Strata Cloud Manager to reduce complexity and risk through a single interface across both the Cortex XDR and Prisma Access deployments.
