KeRanger has the ability to encrypt and prevent access to sensitive files and demands a $400 ransom payment to restore access. The emergence of KeRanger represents a continuation of the ransomware threat observed in the broader attack landscape and serves as a reminder that all platforms are subject to malicious activity
