The Largest Gathering of Next-Generation Experts in the World

Thought Leaders

At a time when our industry is rethinking how it can stave off advanced threats, there is no better guest speaker than John M. McConnell, Vice Chairman of Booz Allen Hamilton, to expound on what this all means to our world. Our own executives will also take the main stage to set the direction for where we as a company are headed—Mark McLaughlin, our CEO; Lee Klarich, head of product management; and last but never least, Nir Zuk our founder and CTO—along with a few surprise cameos. We'll see you there.

Industry Analysts

Come hear two of the leading voices in our industry share their latest findings with us. John Kindervag of Forrester, who spearheaded our industry's move towards a zero-trust networks, will present his latest research and insights into the future of network security architectures. Meanwhile Mike Rothman of Securosis is sure to entertain the audience as he leads the track on 'Revolutionizing Network Security Operations'. Mike points out that as cool as enhanced visibility and increased policy granularity are, most organizations don't understand their full impact or the impact that all user-based policies can have on their network security posture.

Healthcare

Join any number of sessions led by network security leaders from the healthcare industry.

Mark Starry of Concord Hospital can speak to a host of next-generation firewall questions. Mark has three years experience using Palo Alto Networks as the hospital’s primary firewall for managing application usage policies and threat prevention. He will speak specifically about his approach to PCI requirements and how he accomplished much more than merely achieving compliance. He will also take to the main stage for a panel on the future of network security, which promises to be a candid conversation on what's really in store for security practitioners.

Phil Cummings of Nova Scotia Health will discuss “Getting to Know Unknown Threats.” His healthcare organization overhauled its threat prevention strategy to more effectively counter modern malware and also become more efficient at identifying infected user devices. Phil will report on research into the specific threats WildFire™ caught on their network. You won’t want to miss this one.

You’ll enjoy hearing from Palo Alto Networks expert Mike Wade (Summa Health) who will share the elegant application usage policies his team created to securely service their different work groups. With his years of learning, Mike has seen it all. So be sure to bring your questions to this session.

Financial

Where else will you get the chance to candidly exchange lessons learned on next-generation firewalls with security leaders from Fortune 500 financial institutions? There will be over six tracks involving perspectives from the financial industry — one in particular is a panel joined by Andreas Wuchner, CIO Security Technology at UBS, that'll focus on the direction network security is headed. Be sure to hear Mike Dundas of TD Bank in the “Deploying Next-Generation Firewalls Globally” session as he digs into how he successfully deployed Palo Alto Networks as the primary firewall throughout a massive global footprint.

Hi-Tech

There are countless sessions for folks from the technology sector to learn specifically how their peers make the most of their next-generation firewall deployments. Motorola Solutions' Paul Carugati is arguably our most well-known customer in that he's shared his story with audiences from around the world. Be sure to join his sessions, including “How Logging and Reporting with the Next-Generation Firewall are making the Difference”, especially if you want to advance your application-based policies skills. Paul will also share the stage in a panel with other long-time experts to grapple with what's on the horizon for security practitioners.

If you're interested in datacenter deployment experiences, don't miss Jean-Marc Mazzoni, Cloud Management Architect with Dell WYSE. He'll be joined by Forrester analyst John Kindervag to discuss how to use the network as a security enforcement point for data protection as well as improving operations via next-generation network security architectures.

Preparing to move to IPv6? Then don't miss Cody Christman, principal network architect at WIPRO Infocrossing, who shares how PAN-OS was used to protect their IPv6 network.
