Prisma Cloud security and compliance service is priced based on the average number of billable workloads monitored across AWS®, Azure®, and GCP. We define a workload as any resource that generates network traffic. Billable workloads are calculated as the average number of workloads monitored each quarter, based on hourly snapshots that roll into daily, weekly, and monthly averages. This helps avoid overages based on short-term bursts. License data is available in the Prisma Cloud console at any time. The following are considered billable workloads:

Amazon Web Services – Accounts

- Amazon EC2®
- RDS
- Amazon RedShift®
- ALB & ELB (load balancers)
- NAT gateways

Microsoft Azure – Subscriptions

- Virtual machines
- SQL databases
- Load balancers
- Gateways

Google Cloud Platform – Projects

- Google Compute Engine (GCE)
- Cloud SQL
- Load balancers
- Gateways
