Prisma Cloud and Palo Alto Networks integrates with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon Security Lake to improve cloud visibility and help solve a broad set of security problems.

Prisma Cloud and Palo Alto Networks are proud to integrate with Amazon Web Services (AWS) on their new Amazon Security Lake service. Amazon Security Lake allows customers to build a security data lake from integrated cloud and on-premise data sources as well as from their private applications. Shared data from Prisma Cloud can help security analysts improve protection of their cloud workloads, applications, and data when they build their own centralized security data lake with Amazon Security Lake.

Prisma Cloud will deliver security intelligence to Amazon Security Lake using the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF) standard and organizations can derive value from cloud and on-premises log and event data in Amazon Security Lake to give their security teams greater visibility and context into cloud security issues.

“With Prisma Cloud sharing vulnerability findings to Amazon Security Lake, Palo Alto Networks is helping cloud teams everywhere with data that can improve visibility and solve security challenges across a broad range of use cases,” said Rod Wallace, General Manager for Amazon Security Lake.

Improve Cloud Visibility with Amazon Security Lake and Prisma Cloud

Prisma Cloud shares OCSF-compliant security data to Amazon Security Lake for enhanced visibility in the cloud.

With ingestion of Prisma Cloud OCSF-compliant vulnerability security data into Amazon Security Lake, security analysts can break down data silos, query data in-place, and benefit by performing big data analytics at scale. This improved security visibility into AWS environments will help customers better protect their cloud workloads and applications.

Let’s face it, today data is everywhere and more security data is being captured than at any other time in history. Prisma Cloud customers know that having access to this collected security data is critical for visibility in the cloud and helps make decisions faster for rapid protection of vulnerable cloud applications. This is one reason why Prisma Cloud created our code-to-cloud CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform). Our CNAPP is purpose-built to leverage security findings at scale and translate it into comprehensive security actions across the entire application lifecycle from code to cloud.

Use Prisma Cloud To Help Protect Your Applications from Code to Cloud

While Prisma Cloud helps customers by sharing our comprehensive security findings with Amazon Security Lake, customers of our Prisma Cloud CNAPP platform are also positioned to act on data analysis to reduce risk and better protect their cloud applications.

With Prisma Cloud, you can detect and prevent large-scale security incidents across the entire application lifecycle including supply chain issues, vulnerabilities, pipeline security, runtime defense, misconfigurations, and everything in between for complete code-to-cloud protection at any scale.

Cloud Visibility Made Better with Prisma Cloud and Amazon Security Lake

Prisma Cloud by Palo Alto Networks, together with Amazon Security Lake, helps customers gain even more visibility into their AWS environments with a centralized security data lake to build, analyze, and then use to solve critical security challenges.

We are proud to be a continuous innovator with AWS to help customers better secure their cloud applications.
