Forrester has named Palo Alto Networks a Leader in its newly released report, The Forrester Wave™: Secure Access Service Edge Solutions, Q3 2025 (available to subscribers here). This report is an addition to our recent recognition from independent analysts, including being named a Leader for the third time in both the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for SASE Platforms and the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Security Service Edge (SSE) reports and a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Zero Trust Platforms, Q3 2025 report.

We believe our latest Prisma SASE 4.0 announcement exemplifies breakaway SASE innovation, adding advanced AI-driven capabilities, such as advanced web protection through an enterprise browser, comprehensive data security capabilities and unified, intelligent operations, all in a unified platform that provides the security and simplified management today’s executives need to protect their organizations from threats and accelerate digital transformation.

A Platform for AI-Powered Security Anywhere Work Happens

The Forrester Wave™ for SASE maintains “[a]dvanced platforms go beyond feature parity to provide customizable interfaces and workflows that adapt to the needs of operational teams. In one of the few converging areas between networking and security, these platforms enable both teams to collaborate within a single environment that unifies policy management, analytics, and visibility.”

This is the core of our Prisma SASE philosophy. Strata™ Cloud Manager unifies policy management, analytics and visibility, allowing teams to discover and act on insights without jumping among different management consoles.

This platform approach is critical for businesses operating at scale. The National Hockey League (NHL), for example, uses Prisma SASE as part of its platform approach to secure its operations and protect its century-old brand. By standardizing on Palo Alto Networks, the NHL has moved from simple network controls to a comprehensive suite of tools that include Prisma Browser and Prisma Access to secure anywhere work happens.

SASE Delivers Unprecedented Data Security Driven by AI

The Forrester report emphasizes that “DLP is the cornerstone of platform differentiation,” and that “Modern DLP capabilities go beyond basic content filtering to deliver context-aware, identity-driven protection across cloud, web and private applications.”

With Prisma SASE 4.0, we’ve advanced data security modernization by taking our AI-augmented data classification to the next level. It now automatically classifies sensitive information—including unstructured content and data in use—delivering up to 10x fewer false positives than traditional methods. Prisma SASE 4.0 also secures the new frontier of SaaS-based AI agents, copilots and plugins, discovering and monitoring agents that access sensitive data.

The travel technology leader Sabre understands the value of data security as part of a cybersecurity platform approach. Sabre standardized their cybersecurity platform with Palo Alto Networks to help achieve faster security outcomes and consistent protection everywhere. By using Prisma Access and SaaS Security, Sabre can confidently provide its employees access to cutting-edge SaaS and AI applications while maintaining strong defenses against malware infiltration and data exfiltration.

Enterprise-grade data security is also a game-changer for data-sensitive industries like banking and healthcare. Enterprise DLP can even detect subtle data risks within images and apply advanced contextual controls.

Enable a More Secure Future with Prisma SASE 4.0

Prisma SASE 4.0 is engineered to help organizations outpace AI-driven threats, safeguard data wherever it resides or travels, and simplify operations with intelligence and scale, all while delivering frictionless user experiences.

  • Extends Security to the Last Mile: Prisma Browser protects against highly evasive and AI-driven threats that evade SWG detection and assemble inside the browser itself, a critical blind spot for legacy solutions. It provides a critical layer of defense that operates directly where employees do the majority of their work.
  • Modernized Data Security: Palo Alto Networks delivers a unified, frictionless approach to safeguarding data everywhere it resides or travels—across SaaS, clouds, web, email, private apps, endpoints and emerging vectors like SaaS-based AI agents, copilots and plugins. AI-augmented data classification now automatically and precisely identifies sensitive information, including unstructured content and data in use. This enables responsible AI adoption without compromising innovation or productivity.
  • Simplifies Operations with Unified Management: With Prisma SASE 4.0, our single platform simplifies how enterprises scale and protect their environments. The unified platform provides a single console for administrators to manage both networking and security services.
