Delivering Cloud Security Your Way

In today's digital world, information security is of the utmost importance. With the rise of cybercrime and data breaches, organizations must take the necessary steps to protect their sensitive information. One way to do this is through obtaining cloud security certifications, such as Australia’s Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Today, we are announcing some updates to our local cloud and certification footprints in Australia, India and the UK.

At Palo Alto Networks, we follow and oblige global and local requirements to ensure that organizations have proper security measures in place to protect against cyber threats. For example, by following several ISO requirements – an internationally recognized standard for information security management – they outline a systematic approach to managing sensitive information and provide guidelines for implementing a robust information security management system. For our customers, these certifications demonstrate that an organization has taken the necessary steps to secure its information and that it follows industry-accepted best practices for information security.

Another important aspect of protecting sensitive information is keeping data local. Storing data locally, rather than in the cloud, offers several benefits. For one, domestic storage demonstrates a commitment to data sovereignty. In addition, local storage can reduce latency and improve performance.

The Palo Alto Networks commitment to security certifications and keeping data local are essential steps to help our customers not only protect their sensitive information, but provide global security with a local flavor.

Back in 2020, we announced a local cloud security presence for the UK and then for Australia and India in 2021. The Palo Alto Networks efforts to provide a local presence didn’t stop there.
