This week we announced completion of the ANSSI certification for French government networks.  This ANSSI certification is yet another in a long list of certifications that Palo Alto Networks is pleased to provide in securing the world’s most critical networks: those of governments worldwide.

ANSSI, the National Agency for the Security of Information Systems, was established in 2009 as the national authority on security and defense information systems. Its main missions are to ensure the security of the country’s information systems and to ensure national operators coordinate the actions of defense information systems, to design and deploy networks securely, and to create an environment of trust and security for the information society in France and Europe. Achieving the ANSSI certification meant the Palo Alto Networks platform passed a rigorous evaluation by ANSSI-approved organizations like the Centre d’Evaluation de la Securite des Technologies de l’Information (CESTI) and IT security consultants at AMOSSYS.

As user mobility and virtualization increase, and governments enable an ever-growing number of applications to conduct their critical business, we will continue to protect and to innovate as the trusted government partner for next generation network security globally.  Serving governments in over 70 countries on 5 continents, Palo Alto Networks offers simplified, cost-effective, high-performance, advanced, flexible threat prevention for today’s complex government networks and applications.
