Enterprise AI adoption is moving quickly. Organizations are now trying out more models, a wider range of tools, and several methods to incorporate AI into their day-to-day workflows. As adoption expands, security teams are facing growing pressure to assess third-party models without slowing the pace of innovation.
Security reviews are critical, but they can add friction when users have to switch between different tools, export model files, or wait for a separate review process.
Palo Alto Networks is helping simplify that experience by integrating its model scanning capabilities directly into Google Gemini Enterprise.
The Prisma AIRSTM Model Security Agent connects Gemini Enterprise with Palo Alto Networks Prisma AIRS and Strata Cloud Manager, allowing customers to initiate model evaluations and review risk findings using the same conversational interface they already use in Gemini.
What it is: A security agent within Google Cloud that directly connects with Prisma AIRS and Strata Cloud Manager, allowing users to scan supported third-party models, including models from Hugging Face, through natural-language prompts in Gemini.
Who it’s for: Enterprise organizations that are customers of both Palo Alto Networks Prisma AIRS and Google Gemini Enterprise.
How to get started: Search for the Prisma AIRS Model Security Agent on the Google Cloud Marketplace and deploy it into your GCP environment.
What This Looks Like in Practice
Suppose a team is looking at a Hugging Face model for use in an internal application. Rather than leaving Gemini to start a separate security workflow, a user can simply ask,
“Can you scan this model [Hugging Face URL] and show me the risk findings?”
Behind the scenes, the agent invokes the Model Security SDK and connects to the customer’s deployed tenant in Strata Cloud Manager to run the scan.
Once the scan is complete, Gemini returns the results, including the Scan ID, the checks that were carried out, and the risk status, so users can quickly see which items passed, which failed, and where further review may be needed.
Since the scan happens directly within Gemini, model security can be reviewed without stepping out of the existing workflow, reducing some of the friction between AI experimentation and security review.
What’s Next
For organizations already using Gemini Enterprise and Prisma AIRS, the Prisma AIRS Model Security Agent is available through the Google Cloud Marketplace. Customers can also contact their Palo Alto Networks account team for setup details.
