Why is AutoFocus entering EoS?

After many years of successful customer adoption, as our portfolio expands, and we launch newer, better products, the Palo Alto Networks product team has taken the decision to EoS the product. This EoS decision presents an opportunity for our AutoFocus customers to transition to two amazing new products with far more advanced features and functionality.

What options do customers have to transition to new products?

For customers who use AutoFocus for Threat Intelligence & Research, Security operations and Incident response, the path forward is Cortex XSOAR Threat Intelligence Management which allows security teams to take advantage of:

  • A massive repository of Palo Alto Networks threat intelligence with tens of millions of unique malware samples and firewall sessions analyzed daily.
  • A platform for unifying, aggregating, scoring and sharing of threat intelligence with playbook-driven automation.

For customers using AutoFocus for DNS dashboards/network security use cases, the path forward is to migrate to AIOps for NGFW where they will get:

  • A unified view into the activity seen in their organization across applications, users, threats, and cloud-delivered security subscriptions.
  • Advanced URL Filtering.
  • WildFire malware detection and analysis.
  • DLP dashboards.
What are the SKU’s involved in this EoS?

AutoFocus products includes any SKUs beginning with PAN-AF-*.

Will I be able to renew my AutoFocus license?

What happens to customers with a valid service contract?
