This 451 Research study examines IT’s security capability requirements and priorities for SD-WAN. Enterprises are facing increasing pressure to improve the agility of their network infrastructure, and SD-WAN can be an effective way to offer faster provisioning times and greater levels of control. Most SD-WAN offerings have some degree of security capability, and we explored respondents’ views on the efficacy of those controls. In the study, we asked a panel of 300 North American respondents about how they use SD-WAN and what drives their security concerns in those deployments. The respondents represented companies based in a variety of states and provinces and in a range of vertical industries — with strong representation in finance, retail and manufacturing.
