Q4 FY18 Global Partner Webinar Recap

Q3 Company and Channels Update – We highlighted the company growth in Q3 and we didn’t get there alone – you, our NextWave partners, are simply invaluable. We had 372 NextWave partners double their business with us last quarter – incredible!

Key Messages at Ignite 2018 – Channel partners represented 700 of the more than 4000 attendees. Karl Soderlund, SVP WW Channels, covers what attending partners and our customers learned at the event.

Guest speakers:

Lang Tibbils, Head of Global Partner Experience and Programs, explained changes to the NextWave Partner Program including the new Traps Cloud Specialization.

Jeremy Behrle, Head of Global Partner Technology, covered updates to the ASE & PSE courses and exams and stressed the importance of having a plan to make the July 31, compliance deadline.

Sam Svitenko, Senior Director, Global Partner Programs, CSS, provided an overview on the value proposition for Traps 5.0 with Logging Service as a gateway to the application framework, becoming Traps Specialized and leveraging the new Traps Deal Boost promotion to accelerate sales.

Melissa Nacerino, Senior Director, WW Channels Marketing, shared all the fun stuff, including the Q4 need to know top four:

1. CYBERFORCE CYBERChallenge: In February, we introduced our CYBERFORCEChallenge for distributors to help increase CYBERFORCE participation. The top 5 individuals who recruit the most engineers into CYBERFORCE win cash prizes up to $1000. Keep recruiting!

2. Traps Promotions:Secure Up SuperSized rewards partner sales reps and systems engineers up to $500. Combine with the Traps Deal Boost for an additional 15% Deal Registration discount increase.

3. Invest in Success NFR Promotion: Don’t delay. Orders must be received by July 20 to receive a 40% discount on PA-850, PA-320, PA-5220, PA-5250 and an 80% discount on Traps not-for-resale SKUs to meet NextWave compliance requirements.

4. SKO 19: We convene in Toronto August 20-23. All attending partners are invited to an exclusive NextWave Partner session on August 20 from 3pm – 5pm.
