Palo Alto Networks this week received the Global VMware Partner Network Award in VMware’s Global Technology Partner of the Year category. We’ve made big strides with VMware toward transforming security in the software-defined data center, and the award – presented this week at VMware Partner Exchange 2014 in San Francisco -- is validation for all the great work we’ve done together.
A true next-generation security platform – one in which security policies are tied to applications, users and data – is a growing requirement for an effective cybersecurity strategy. We continue to work with VMware to solve these challenges across physical and virtualized networks, and in November 2013 announced an integrated solution that combines Palo Alto Networks VM-Series with VMware’s NSX network virtualization platform.
